Nimmerdor was born in 1972 in the North of The Netherlands at the barn of breeder J.A. Dijkstra. Three years later Wiepke van de Lageweg bought the chestnut at the KWPN stallion show. Later on this year Nimmerdor came an approved stallion. Bert Romp was his rider and he prepared Nimmerdor for the national levels
