Jesper Romp
Jesper started his pony career when he was 7 years old. At the age of 15 he rode his first European Championship with Van Schijndels Kris and won the silver team medal in Jardy (Fr) 2010. After this, Jesper went to the Schroder brothers (BWG stables) and was very successful:
In 2016, Jesper joined Ruben at the Margeretha Hoeve and was trained by Bert. In 2017, Jesper started his own company to ride younger horses at home, which he combines with construction and maintenance of equestrian footings. Together with Yves Verheyden, he runs V&R Equestrian Footings BV.
- Nations Cup Young Riders in Bonheiden (Bel): 1st and 4th in Grand Prix
- Nations Cup Young Riders in Hagen (Ger): 1st
- Grand Prix of Koningsbosch (Bel): 5th
- Grand Prix of Ommen 3* (NL): 1st
